Costco Falsely Labels Ginkgo Biloba As Memory Aid, Proposed Class Suit Says

Costco’s ginkgo biloba supplement fails to deliver on its promise to improve alertness and memory, a proposed class suit filed in the Northern District of California alleges (Korolshteyn v. Costco Wholesale Corp., N.D. Cal., 14-05447, complaint filed 12/15/14).

Costco Wholesale Corp., through an extensive uniform national marketing campaign, falsely represents on the front of the label of “TruNature Ginkgo Biloba with Vinpocetin” that the product “supports alertness and memory,” the Dec. 15 complaint in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California alleges.
