A Colorado man who submitted $206,000 in personal bills and invoices to the Department of Agriculture failed to shake off multiple felony convictions under the False Claims Act.
The invoices Gunther Glaub sent to the USDA covered the purchases of $194,000 worth of expensive vehicles including both a Chevrolet Camaro and a Corvette, and the payment of several thousand dollars in student loan debt.
“Thank you for paying this debt,” Glaub said in an accompanying note.
