Consolidation of Herbal Testosterone Suits Against GNC, Others, Set for Hearing

The consolidation of suits alleging Gencor Nutrients Inc., General Nutrition Center and others falsely market Testofen—an extract of the herb fenugreek—as a testosterone booster is set for a March 26 hearing before the U.S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation (In re Testofen Mktg. and Sales Prac. Litig., J.P.M.L., 2612, hearing set 3/26/15).

Gencor sells Testofen to makers of nutritional supplements for inclusion in their products, according to a recent motion for consolidation by plaintiffs Michael Ryan and others.

At least 22 Testofen-containing products, made by 10 companies, are labeled, marketed and sold as clinically proven testosterone boosters. ...
