Conair Corp. “refuses to adequately compensate consumers” who purchased hair dryers that are prone to catching fire, two purchasers say in a suit filed in federal court in New Jersey.
Jennifer Byron and Karen Luedy allege their Conair Infiniti Pro 1875-watt hair dryers (259/279 Series) short-circuit, spark, and malfunction. Conair voluntarily recalled the product in 2013, according to its website.
