Company Loses Bid to Get Pollution Cleanup Cost Help From Others

An Ohio federal court dismissed a case from a workplace supplies company claiming other companies had to help it pay for the aftermath of pollution that contaminated groundwater near Dayton.

Judge Michael J. Newman adopted recommendations from Magistrate Judge Caroline H. Gentry, who said that dismissal was appropriate because the company didn’t fulfill an order to file a renewed motion for default judgment or show cause.
