Claims Grow Lights Torched Pot Facility Go to Federal Court

California-based lamp maker Top Shelf LED Inc. successfully moved a cannabis producer’s lawsuit from state to federal court in Washington state, where it will defend claims that its grow lights caused a fire that destroyed an entire facility and its contents.

Phat N Sticky LLC failed to allege the residency of all its members, leaving its citizenship indeterminate from the face of the complaint, Judge Stanley A. Bastian said Thursday for the US District Court for the Eastern District of Washington.
