A lawsuit accusing Chobani LLC of misleading consumers about how much sugar is in its Greek yogurts compared to competing brands will be dropped, according to a filing made Thursday in federal court in New York.
Donna Brietzke and Damara Alicea said Chobani labels and markets its products as containing 45% less sugar than other yogurts, enticing consumers who are looking to cut back on sugar for health reasons to pay a premium for its products.
