Celsius Holdings to Pay Up to $7.8 Million to End False-Ad Suit

Dietary supplement maker, Celsius Holdings Inc. will pay up to $7.8 million to consumers who alleged it included misleading labels on certain beverages, according to a federal court in New York.

The proposed settlement is fair, reasonable, and adequate based on its value, and the relative risks and benefits of further litigation, the US District Court Southern District of New York found. Judge Jennifer H. Rearden gave final approval of the class action settlement in a Wednesday order.
