Relatives of Keshall Anderson sued Cabela’s, alleging it knowingly sold an Iberia Firearms JCP .40 caliber Smith & Wesson pistol to a straw purchaser, Brilena Hardwick, according to the Delaware Superior Court for New Castle County.
Hardwick allegedly gave it to her boyfriend, a convicted felon who sold the gun on the black market. From there, the plaintiffs say, it reached the person who fatally shot Anderson.
