Bureau Veritas North America Inc. will have to face a wrongful death suit alleging that the company’s failure to accurately perform air quality tests resulted in an Eli Lilly worker’s exposure to hazardous chemicals that resulted in breast cancer and death, a Kansas federal district court ruled.
Janice Cambers died of breast cancer after working for four years at a Kansas facility of pharmaceutical company Eli Lilly, where she packaged products.
