A former high school football player may not pursue claims that his coach repeatedly abused and demeaned him, a federal court in Ohio ruled.
The Dec. 26 decision, which upheld summary judgments for the Ohio school district and its coach, is the latest in a trend of cases in which athletes allege hazing and other forms of misconduct in high school and college football programs.
