Bosch to Pay Diesel Deal Cash to Delaware Over Software (1)

Engineering conglomerate Robert Bosch GmbH and the state of Delaware have filed a consent judgment as part of a 50-state, $98.7 million settlement of diesel emissions-cheating allegations, according to a Delaware Chancery Court docket.

Bosch helped Volkswagen AG and Fiat Chrysler equip diesel vehicles with emissions-cheating software, Delaware officials said in a suit filed Monday, concurrently with the consent judgment.

Delaware’s share of the settlement is $344,340, according to the consent judgment.

Bosch is entering into separate consent judgments with the other states, the state said. It’s also paying $5 million to the National Association of Attorneys General.
