Bojangles Restaurant Hit with Foodborne Illness Suit

Foreign matter in a chicken salad served at a franchise of Bojangles Restaurants Inc. caused a South Carolina woman to develop nodules in her throat, according to a suit filed Oct. 30 in a South Carolina federal court.

Meghan Green claims that “hard, gray-colored granules” in the roasted chicken salad she ate in 2015 had a foul odor and taste and were “not intended for human consumption” (Green v. Bojangles Restaurants, Inc., D.S.C., No. 17-cv-02936, removed 10/30/17).
