Biomet Inc. and related companies must face trial on narrowed claims in a couple’s lawsuit alleging flawed metal-on-metal hip implants caused complications that required the wife to undergo multiple revision surgeries, a federal court in Missouri said.
Mary and Philip Bayes raised fact questions concerning whether a design defect caused her injuries, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri said.
