Bimbo Bakeries Labeling Class Deal Gets Approved on Renewed Try

Bimbo Bakeries USA Inc. and consumers who allege it deceptively marketed Sara Lee, Entenmann’s, Thomas’, and other baked good brands got, on their second try, a California federal court’s initial approval for a class settlement that provides label and ingredient changes.

Their first attempt at preliminary settlement approval failed because of inadequate notice to class members.
