Bell + Howell Disputes $5.8 Million Mouse Repeller Fee Request

Bell + Howell says a $5.8 million fee request in a class settlement over an allegedly ineffective ultrasonic mouse repeller is nearly three times what consumers applied to receive and should be rejected, according to new filings in a New York federal court.

Joanne Hart and Sandra Bueno’s suit in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York alleges the repellers, which are small plug-in devices that emit high-frequency sounds, aren’t intolerable to pests as advertised.
