Avia Toning Shoe Suit Goes Forward Minus Punitive Damages, Fraud Claims

A suit alleging that the health benefits of Avia toning shoes were misrepresented and their design actually caused a woman to sustain a fracture and develop a chronic pain condition may go forward minus punitive damages, fraud and other claims, the Middle District of Pennsylvania ruled March 20 (Laskowski v. Brown Shoe Co., 2015 BL 76885, M.D. Pa., 3:14-CV-01812, 3/20/15).
