Audi Hit With E-Tron Car Battery Fire Defect Class Action Suit

Audi of America LLC failed to disclose or repair a lithium-ion battery defect that created a fire risk in its 2019 to 2024 e-tron line of electric vehicles, a proposed class action alleged.

The batteries lose power and short circuit which can cause a fire, according to the class action complaint filed Tuesday in the US District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
