Apple Urges Court to Toss AirPods Max Condensation Defect Suit

Apple Inc. asked a California state judge Wednesday to toss a lawsuit from a proposed class of AirPods Max consumers who allege the products have a defect causing excessive condensation, claiming the complaint fails to allege that the company knew about the issue at the time of purchase.

San Francisco resident John Keeley sued Apple in February, alleging he pre-ordered the AirPods Max headphones in December 2020, but began noticing excessive condensation collecting in the ear cups around a week after using them.
