Amazon Seller Liability Issue Dropped at Pennsylvania High Court

Whether Amazon.com Inc. is a “seller” of products sold on its marketplace, subjecting it to Pennsylvania product liability law, is a question the Pennsylvania Supreme Court won’t answer now that Amazon and an injured woman dropped their case at the Third Circuit, which sent the issue to the justices.

The high court marked the case as discontinued Friday after the parties asked it to, a court clerk confirmed.
