Amazon, Insurer End Suit Over Electronic Bike Battery Liability

Universal Property & Casualty Insurance Co. ended a suit against Amazon.com Inc. over a defective e-bike battery sold through the tech giant’s marketplace.

The insurer’s suit was dismissed Friday in the US District Court for the Southern District of Florida after the parties said they reached a settlement in principle.
