Amazon Faces Suit by Hospitalized Home Shopping Network Seller

A New York-based Home Shopping Network seller may proceed with some claims alleging Amazon.com Inc. is liable for selling harmful noodles through its website that landed her in the hospital and affected her career, a federal court in the state ruled.

Carol Brodie adequately alleges claims of negligence and breach of implied warranty, Judge Edgardo Ramos said.
