Abbott Laboratories, Procter & Gamble Co., and others misrepresent popular home ovulation test kits as being 99% accurate at predicting when a woman is most likely to become pregnant, a new proposed class action in federal court in New York alleges.

Millions of people buy and rely upon home tests for family planning purposes, Natalia La Rosa and Phoebe Caneda say in a suit filed Monday in the US District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
