$4.5M Class Deal Tentatively Approved In Suit Over Babolat Tennis Racquet Marketing

A $4.5 million class settlement resolving allegations that Babolat misrepresented commercial tennis racquets as the same ones the pros use won tentative approval in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California (Ahdoot v. Babolat VS N. Am. Inc, C.D. Cal., 2:13-cv-02823, 10/7/14).

The settlement agreement provides for a $4.5 million “non-reversionary fund” to be issued by Babolat VS North America, Inc., according to an Oct. 7 order by Judge Gary Allen Feess of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
