Wells Fargo’s Investment Bank CFO Winniford to Join MoneyGram

Marc Winniford, chief financial officer of Wells Fargo & Co.’s corporate and investment bank, is leaving the firm to take over as CFO at financial technology company MoneyGram International.

Winniford will oversee all of MoneyGram’s finance, accounting, tax and treasury functions, according to a statement Wednesday. He starts in February, reporting to MoneyGram Chief Executive Officer Anthony Soohoo.

Having joined Wells Fargo in 2015 from Lazard Inc., Winniford was named to his current role at the San Francisco-based lender in 2022.
