Wells Fargo Hires Sponsors Banker Ryan From Goldman Sachs

Wells Fargo & Co. has recruited Kieran Ryan from Goldman Sachs Group Inc. to run its mergers and acquisitions team working with private equity firms, according to a person familiar with the matter.

Ryan will join as a managing director and head of sponsors M&A, said the person, who asked to not be identified because the details aren’t public. Based in New York, he will report to Jeff Hogan, head of global M&A at the San Francisco-based bank.
