Truist Taps Windels as Head of ECM Syndicate as Gould to Retire

Truist Securities Inc. has tapped Frank Windels to replace retiring industry veteran Tim Gould as head of equity capital markets syndicate.

Windels will be based in New York and join Truist in October, according to people familiar with the matter. The banker was previouslyUBS’s head of US equity syndicate, and also has worked at Deutsche Bank AG.

The shakeup comes ahead of Gould’s retirement at the end of the year, the people said. The banker’s career spanned nearly four decades after beginning at Lehman Brothers where he climbed the ranks to serve as global head of equity syndicate. ...
