The founder and former CEO of a Singapore-based trading fintech created a “false picture” for investors about the firm’s November 2020 combination with a special purpose acquisition company, the SEC said.
Srinivas Koneru, the former head of Triterras Fintech Pte. Ltd., made numerous misleading statements about the firm’s online trade and trade finance platform Kratos in connection with its business combination with Netfin Acquisition Corp., the Securities and Exchange Commission alleged in a Nov. 7 complaint in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York.
