Thoma Bravo Lines Up $2.7 Billion of Bank Debt for Verint Buyout

Banco Santander SA is leading a roughly $2.7 billion debt deal to support Thoma Bravo’s acquisition of customer-service automation business Verint Systems Inc., according to people with knowledge of the matter.

A transaction could launch in the leveraged loan market as soon as next month, said the people, who asked not to be identified discussing private information.

Thoma Bravo plans to combine Verint with Calabrio Inc., another of its companies, and use part of the proceeds from the new financing to repay Calabrio’s private debt, the people said.
