Thoma Bravo to Buy Verint for $1.23 Billion in Cash Deal (1)

Thoma Bravo has agreed to buy Verint Systems Inc. for $1.23 billion in cash, just days after announcing a $1.23 billion takeover of Dayforce Inc.

Verint shareholders will receive $20.50 per share, valuing the company at $2 billion including debt, the companies said in a statement Monday that confirmed an earlier Bloomberg News report. The price represents a 13% premium to Verint’s closing share price on June 25, the last trading day before media reports about a potential deal.
