Thiel’s Chief Medical Officer Opens Biotech Venture Capital Fund

A onetime osteopath who went to work for Peter Thiel more than a decade ago is starting his own venture capital fund under the auspices of the tech billionaire.

Jason Camm, 35, registered a money-management firm in July under the name Thiel Bio, according to a regulatory filing. The West Hollywood-based adviser oversees about $100 million for a single investor through the Thiel Bio Fund.
