StanChart APAC Leveraged Finance Banker to Join Deutsche Bank

Ivan Cheung, executive director of leveraged and acquisition finance for Asia Pacific at Standard Chartered Plc, has left the bank, according to people familiar with the matter.

Hong Kong-based Cheung will be moving to a similar role at Deutsche Bank AG later in the year after a period of gardening leave, said the people, who asked not to be identified discussing private matters.

StanChart is likely to begin searching for Cheung’s replacement in the coming weeks, the people added.

StanChart and Deutsche declined to comment.
