Space Startup Looking to Trump’s Golden Dome Raises $260 Million

True Anomaly raised $260 million in a round of funding set to help the space defense startup boost hiring and production of military-class orbital systems for the US government.

Centennial, Colorado-based True Anomaly, founded in 2022, designs space defense technology including a multi-orbit spacecraft called Jackal and a software system dubbed Mosaic that can automate spacecraft functions for military missions.

The company launched two test flights of Jackal last year and is planning one more before its first mission under a $30 million contract with the US Space Force.
