Banco Santander SA has appointed Declan Canavan as head of institutional distribution for its alternative investment asset management business.
Canavan joins the Spanish lender from BNP Paribas SA, where he was head of private markets sales since 2021, according to an internal memo seen by Bloomberg. A spokeswoman for the asset manager confirmed the content of the memo.
