Proxy Adviser ISS Supports Disney Board One Year After Fight (1)

Institutional Shareholder Services is recommending investors vote for all of Walt Disney Co.’s board nominees, a shift from last year when it supported activist Nelson Peltz in his proxy fight with the company.

Peltz, who was critical of Disney management, was ultimately unsuccessful in winning a seat.

ISS, which has been critical of Disney’s executive pay in the past, told investors to support the company’s compensation plan this year. Disney has made changes to its plans over the years, partly in response to pushback.
