Pollen Street Capital to Buy Mattioli Woods for £432 Million

Pollen Street Capital, a UK-based alternative investment manager, is buying pension and wealth consultant Mattioli Woods Plc in a deal that values the firm at £432 million ($553 million).

The cash offer of 804 pence a share represents a premium of 34% to Mattioli Woods’ closing share price on Thursday, according to a filing on Friday. Directors of Leicester, Britain-based Mattioli Woods plan to recommend shareholders vote in favor of the deal.
