Omers Earns 6% as Stock Gains Mute Losses From PE, US Dollar (2)

Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System returned 6% last year after gains from stock holdings and private credit more than offset a weak dollar and the pension’s first private equity loss since 2020.

That brings its net assets to C$145.2 billion ($106 billion) last year, up from C$138.2 billion in 2024, the pension said in a statement Monday.
