Oaktree Hires Apollo’s Guthorn for Healthcare Credit Bets (1)

Oaktree Capital Management has hired former Apollo Global Management Inc. managing director Olivia Guthorn, according to people with knowledge of the matter.

Guthorn will oversee the healthcare sector for Oaktree’s flagship opportunistic credit strategy, reporting to Robert O’Leary, said one of the people, all of whom requested anonymity discussing confidential information.

At Apollo, Guthorn was a member of the global corporate credit team and led coverage of the healthcare sector. She previously worked for Brookfield and Barclays, her LinkedIn profile shows.
