NYSE Owner ICE Is Said in Talks for $6 Billion Enverus Deal

Intercontinental Exchange Inc., parent of the New York Stock Exchange, is in talks to acquire Enverus in a deal that would value the energy data platform at at least $6 billion, people familiar with the matter said.

ICE has been negotiating a deal to acquire Enverus after an auction process for the company, which is backed by Hellman & Friedman, according to the people. A final agreement has yet to be reached and discussions could still end without one, the people said, asking not to be identified because the information was private.
