Nvidia-Backed AI Startup Firmus Signs New Contract Ahead of IPO

Australian artificial-intelligence startup Firmus Technologies Pty. has signed a new agreement with a global technology firm for a new data center in Melbourne, as the company prepares for an expected public listing later this year.

The multi-billion contract covers roughly 18,400 Nvidia Corp. GB300 graphics processing units to be deployed at the facility, Firmus said in a statement Monday, without naming the customer.
