Nordic Capital Raises €2 Billion for Mid-Cap Private Equity Fund

Nordic Capital said it has raised €2 billion ($2.1 billion) for its second mid-market private equity fund.

The investment firm raised the funds for Nordic Capital Evolution II in four months and beat its target of €1.4 billion, according to a statement seen by Bloomberg. It attracted support from current backers as well as significant commitments from new investors and regions, including a large increase from the Americas, Nordic Capital said in the statement.
