Morgan Stanley Hires PJT’s Charles Carroll as Managing Director

Morgan Stanley has hired Charles Carroll, most recently a managing director at investment bank PJT Partners, according to an internal memo reviewed by Bloomberg News.

Carroll, based in New York, will serve as head of sponsor solutions on the private capital advisory team, bringing his expertise with concentrated deals including continuation funds in which companies are moved to new funds with new investors. He spent the previous eight years at PJT advising sponsors on general partner-led liquidity solutions across the company’s funds and portfolio businesses.
