Mark Walter Hires Blackstone’s Camacho for Investing Role (1)

Guggenheim Partners co-founder Mark Walter hired former Blackstone Inc. executive Robert Camacho to handle investments for the billionaire.

Camacho, former co-head of consumer- and asset-based finance at Blackstone, will help guide Walter’s principal investment activities, which are separate from Guggenheim and his insurance holdings, according to a person familiar with the arrangement, who asked not to be identified because the information is private.
