Marcelo Claure Joins Brady, Nadal as E1 Boat Racing Team Owner

Billionaire Marcelo Claure has joined athletes including Tom Brady and Rafael Nadal, as well as celebrities such as Marc Anthony and Steve Aoki, as a team owner in an electric boat racing competition known as the UIM E1 World Championship.

Claure’s Team Brazil will compete at the first E1 event scheduled to take place next month in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. It will also feature teams owned by former Indian national cricket team captain Virat Kohli, football star Didier Drogba and Formula One driver Sergio Pérez.
