LionTree Hires Private Equity Executive to Boost Merchant Bank

LionTree, the boutique investment bank run by rainmaker Aryeh Bourkoff, has hired private equity executive Andrew Olinick as it pushes to expand its merchant banking business.

Olinick is joining as a managing partner and will report to Bourkoff, according to a LionTree spokesperson. Olinick, who has worked at 3i Group since 2007, was most recently co-head of North American private equity and global head of business and technology services.
