Lightyear Capital Taps Ex-UBS CFO Naratil as Operating Partner

New York-based private equity firm Lightyear Capital has appointed former UBS Group AG top executive Tom Naratil as an operating partner for one of its funds.

Naratil previously held several senior positions over four decades at UBS, including co-president of UBS Global Wealth Management and president of UBS Americas. He also served on UBS’s executive board.

UBS had held talks with Naratil to gauge his interest in re-joining the bank after the bank took over rival Credit Suisse in March through an emergency deal backed by the Swiss government.
