Lifeline Ventures raised €400 million ($470 million) to create Finland’s biggest fund investing in European technology startups, building on its track record of identifying unicorns.
Among the investors in the fund, Lifeline’s sixth, are Grove Street Advisors LLC and Finnish pension groups Varma and Elo, it said on Tuesday. Nordea Bank Abp’s Finnish life insurance arm and the government’s industrial investment unit Tesi also joined.
