KKR Agrees to Sell BMC Helix to PE Firm Montagu for $875 Million

KKR & Co. has agreed to sell IT services business BMC Helix to European private equity firm Montagu for $875 million, according to people familiar with the matter.

The firms confirmed the deal in a statement on Wednesday without providing a value. BMC Software, which announced it was splitting off the BMC Helix business in 2024, disclosed the price on a private call earlier in the week with lenders, according to people with knowledge of the situation. They asked not to be identified discussing the private matter.
