The alternative asset management firm confirmed Pack’s death in a statement. It didn’t give a cause.
“We are devastated by this loss,” Fortress said. “Josh was a gifted investor, a thoughtful strategist, a compassionate leader — and a deeply cherished friend to many.”
Fortress, which manages $53 billion, invests in strategies including corporate credit, asset-based finance, real estate and private equity. Pack joined the firm 23 years ago from Wells Fargo & Co.
