Goldman’s Lead Data-Center Banker Bill Davis Is Leaving the Firm

The Goldman Sachs Group Inc. banker who oversees its coverage of data-center companies, Bill Davis, is leaving the firm, according to people with knowledge of the matter.

Davis has resigned from his post as a managing director to join Pure Data Centres as chief investment officer, said one of the people, who asked not to be identified because the appointment isn’t yet public. He will remain based in New York. Goldman’s new head of data center coverage is Achal Sakaria, a person familiar with the matter said.
